Sorridi Therapeutics has introduced NeuroFiber, containing 11g of prebiotic and whole food fibers in a tasty bar. NeuroFiber has been shown to reduce intestinal inflammation in Parkinson’s disease patients by improving the gut microbiome. Constipation was also reduced. Ex-vivo studies have shown a substantial increase in short chain fatty acids with NeuroFiber. In addition, NeuroFiber contains 3 vitamins known to be deficient in PD patients and has low protein content to minimize interference with PD medications
