Peter K. Todd, MD, PhD, FANA

Dr. Peter K. Todd is the Chester and Anne Alecks Sackett Endowed Professor of Neurology and Associate Chair for Research in the department of Neurology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Todd completed his MD, PhD in neuroscience at the University of Wisconsin, his neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and fellowships in movement disorders and neurogenetics at Michigan. Dr. Todd’s lab studies the mechanisms by which nucleotide repeat expansions cause neurological disease with a goal of developing novel therapeutics for degenerative ataxias and related conditions. Clinically, Dr. Todd directs the Neurogenomic Medicine Program and serves as Clinical Director of the RNA therapeutics initiative at the University of Michigan, where he cares for patients with ataxia and related inherited neurological disorders.
