Dr. Muhib A. Khan is an Associate Professor in the Division of Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disease, Department of Neurology, Mayo Clinic, MN. He served as Chair of the State of Michigan Stroke Systems of Care Task Force. His clinical and research efforts are focused on stroke care in non-urban communities. He received funding from Michigan State University to implement stroke severity-based destination triage system and industry funding to implement stroke prevention strategies in non-urban communities. Dr. Khan continues this work at Mayo Clinic in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic Health System Family Medicine Team.
