Dr. Michael Gilligan graduated in medicine from University College Dublin in 2018 and commenced Higher Specialist Training (residency) in Neurology in Dublin in 2021. He was the recipient of a Wellcome-HRB Irish Clinical Academic Training (ICAT) grant and undertook a split-site PhD between University College Dublin and Mayo Clinic, Rochester USA. His PhD work is focused on antibody biomarker discovery in autoimmune neurologic disorders.
