Dr. Katie Hunzinger is a clinical exercise physiologist by certification and a PhD trained biomechanist. As Director of the Biomedical Research on Aging, Injury, and Neurotrauma (BRAIN) Lab she utilizes her postdoctoral training in neurology and epidemiology to better understand the mid-to late-life effects of repetitive head impacts, concussion, and traumatic brain injury. She serves on the Medical Board of Directors for Women’s Elite Rugby and is an active rugby referee and World Rugby Educator.
