Kathryn Rexrode, MD, MPH

Dr. Kathryn Rexrode is the Chief Academic Officer at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). As Chief Academic Officer she supports the academic missions of BWH. She is also the Chief of the Division of Women’s Health in the Department of Medicine at BWH, and a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rexrode has broad and deep research experience in women’s health and is the author of more than 350 research publications. She leads multiple research studies funded by the NIH with a focus on the impact of metabolism and female-specific risk factors on the risk of heart disease and stroke in women.
