Joe Bonner, PhD

Dr. Joe Bonner joined the NIH in 2016 and is a program officer with the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR) at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). His portfolio includes research focused on rehabilitation for disabling conditions such as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and limb loss. Dr. Bonner received his PhD in neuroscience from Drexel University College of Medicine, where his research focused on regenerative medicine for spinal cord injury and other conditions.
