Dr. Vaishnav Krishnan is an Associate Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience and Psychiatry & Behavioral Science at the Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to his clinical role as an epileptologist and clinical neurophysiologist at an NAEC Level IV epilepsy center, he supervises a translational laboratory devoted to understanding the neurobiological determinants of psychiatric comorbidity in epilepsy. This work combines novel digital behavioral endpoints in mouse models of epilepsy and antiseizure treatment, as well as digital measurements of activity and subjective wellbeing in human subjects with epilepsy. His laboratory has received grant funding from the AAN, AES and the NINDS.
