Dr. Seemant Chaturvedi is the Stewart J. Greenebaum Endowed Professor of Stroke Neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is also the system-wide Director of the Stroke Program at the University of Maryland Medical System. He is a co-author of recent guidelines for primary and secondary stroke prevention from the AHA/ASA. His research interests include carotid stenosis treatment, intensive medical therapy for stroke prevention, sex differences in stroke, and quality of care in stroke prevention.
