Midori Yenari, MD, FANA

Dr. Midori Yenari is a vascular neurologist and professor of neurology at the University of California, San Francisco and serves as the San Francisco Veterans’ Hospital’s stroke center director. She obtained her MD at Tulane University and completed neurology and cerebrovascular training at Stanford University. She currently serves on the faculty mentoring committee for UCSF’s Department of Neurology. Her research studies models of stroke and brain trauma. Her research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the American Heart Association, and the Veterans Affairs Merit Program. She is currently the editor in chief of Experimental Neurology.
