Dr. Karen Orjuela is a neurohospitalist and vascular neurologist whose work focuses on community-centered care and building equitable systems for brain health. She is an Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Chicago, where she also serves as Vice Chair of Health Equity and Community Engagement and Chief Community Neurology Transformation Officer for UChicago Medicine. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Equity Neuroscience, a journal dedicated to advancing health equity through science.
