Dr. Frighton Mutete is a graduate of the University of Zambia, School of Medicine. He completed his neurology specialist training with the Zambia College of Medicine at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia, and graduated in 2022 as an adult neurologist from Zambia’s first neurology training program. He is the ninth locally trained neurologist in Zambia and currently serves as a consultant neurologist at Livingstone University Teaching Hospital in Livingstone, where he has been instrumental in establishing and sustaining the first dedicated outpatient and inpatient neurology services. He is a passionate clinician and researcher with interests in neuro-infectious diseases and neuro-immunology.
