Felicia Chow, MD, MAS

Dr. Felicia Chow is a neuro-infectious diseases clinician-researcher who works at the crossroads of neurology, infectious diseases, and global health. Her research focuses on predictors, patterns, and mechanisms of infection-related stroke; sex differences in cerebrovascular risk in HIV infection; and treatment strategies for neurotuberculosis.
As part of her work, Dr. Chow has championed greater diversity in research training and is committed to mentoring junior investigators in neuro-infectious diseases and clinical research methods, including serving as Program Director for ENLIGHTEN, an NIH-funded T32 fellowship focused on brain equity research training. She also directs the UCSF Neuro-Infectious Diseases Clinic, where she cares for people living with a wide range of neurological infections.
