Dr. Elisabeth Marsh is a vascular neurologist specializing in post-stroke recovery. She received her BA from the Johns Hopkins University where she continued her training for medical school, residency, and fellowship. She is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine within the Cerebrovascular Division, where she is the Director of the stroke program at Johns Hopkins Bayview, the Associate Program Director of the Neurology Residency, and the Vice Chair of Education. She is also the Vice President for the American Neurological Association and sits on the Quality Committee of the American Academy of Neurology, working on guidelines and quality measures to aid physicians in optimizing evidence-based methods within their clinical practices. Her multidisciplinary, multi-center, cutting edge research using magnetoencephalography (MEG) to determine the underlying pathophysiology of cognitive deficits following minor stroke and create tangible therapeutic targets to improve post-stroke cognition, is supported by both the American Heart Association and the National Institutes of Health.
