Dr. David Coughlin is an associate professor at the University of California San Diego where he co-directs the movement disorders fellowship program and the UCSD Shiley Marcos Alzheimer’s disease research center’s neuropathology core. His research focuses on the neuropathology of neurodegenerative diseases and relationships to clinical phenotypes, outcomes, and in vivo biomarker signatures.
